The numerous actions and tasks carried out by operators (in conjunction with equipment, from planning to execution) were not managed effectively. The ERP lacked the understanding of shop floor detail, and traditional approaches to MES were not working or were overly complex.
So the founders set about working in partnership with world-leading manufacturing companies to do something that had never been done before: to deliver easy to understand, flexible and powerful digital tools in one integrated platform.
